In a recent Q&A with WWD, Cheya describes how her 91Ó°ÊÓ experience laid the groundwork for her career, as she moved from store management—with companies like Macy’s and Victoria’s Secret—into human resources, where she now oversees high-volume hiring initiatives.
"LIM prepared me to make great career decisions," Cheya tells WWD. "When I graduated, I felt ready for the next chapter in my life—which was in the Macy’s Executive Development Program for Store Management. I was a quick learner, and I attribute that to 91Ó°ÊÓ and all the resources they provided to prepare me for life after college."
Cheya continues, "At 91Ó°ÊÓ, I learned how to be a leader and also how to be great in a supporting role when necessary. Those are both invaluable in the workplace."
